Are you Telepathic? Animal Communication & Human Telepathy is Possible
Telepathy is the ability to communicate with people and animals using only the mind
What is telepathy?
The word telepathy comes from the Greek ‘tele’ – meaning far away and the word ‘patheia’ which means feeling. It literally means feeling or sensing from a distance. A telepathic relationship is borne from the concept that all beings originate from the same source.
Telepathy is the transmission, unintentional or purposeful, of information (thoughts and or feelings) directly from mind to mind. So, no words are spoken or written or gestures used to convey data. A telepathic transmission occurs between two different minds. Those mental faculties don’t have to be human either.
Extrasensory perception (ESP) or Intuition refers to information that is perceived outside of the five senses. This includes phenomena such as clairvoyance and knowledge of future events.
Telepathy is often thought of as mind-reading. Knowing that someone is about to call you or having a precognition of something that is about to happen is not telepathy. Intuition may be a bridge for telepathic communication in some cases.
A 2014 study conducted by psychiatrist Carles Grau and his colleagues found that brain-to-brain communication via the Internet is possible. Information can, in fact, be transmitted across large distances when the Internet is the highway that connects the two people.
Biologist, Rupert Sheldrake says that he views psychic phenomena as an extension of biology. He has investigated little explored aspects of human telepathy, such as telepathy between mothers and babies, telephone telepathy (thinking of someone who soon afterwards calls) and email telepathy.
While in the mainstream there is no known mechanism for telepathy and some say it contradicts the laws of physics, telepathy is possible. I view it as evidence that our thoughts are forms of energy that have a life of their own. These thought forms are entities that can travel through space and time.
Our thoughts emanate from our brains and from our Higher Minds (a subtle energy field surrounding us). We know that sound and light are carried on unseen waves of energy, and thoughts are too.
In my opinion, open and clear minds are sometimes capable of receiving and sending telepathic messages, through the intent of wanting to connect or communicate or to know something. At some other-wordly level the sender’s thoughts are projected to the receiver, and the receiver collects those thoughts if she or he is open to receiving them.
Examples of telepathy
I have personally experienced three clear episodes of telepathy or mind-to-mind communication. One day I was with my partner’s sister and her daughters outside a house which had a swimming pool. The mother was in the pool, holding one of her twin daughters. They were around two years old. I was in a relaxed, happy state and was very fond of the twins, as they were of me.
The child in her mother’s arms looked directly at me from a distance and I looked at the child. I heard her voice in my head say, “Are you going to come in the pool?” The toddler communicated her idea or thought mind to mind with no spoken words.
“No I shouted, I’m not going in the pool.” At this, the child turned her head away from me and all the adults looked surprised at my unexpected outburst. I received a two year old child’s thoughts telepathically because I was relaxed and open minded and connected to the child.
Another occasion was when I was learning animal telepathic communication with Trisha McCagh. The students were given a photograph of an animal whom they were asked to connect to via the picture. We had to ask the animal a question that their owner gave us. In my case, I had to ask, “What do you think of Jack?”
Now I didn’t know who Jack was. As I stared at my photo I saw a beautiful cat that I adored. I was relaxed and happy and intended to connect to this amazing creature. I silently asked the question of the cat, intending to convey my message.
I was nearly bowled over with a feather when I heard a loud voice say in my head, “Filthy.” The voice didn’t really sound like my voice, but sounded like a loud indignant exclamation made by a person.
As I doubted the authenticity of this internal voice, I peered nervously at the cat’s owner. “Er, the cat — the cat said Jack could do with a wash” I made up so as not to be so blatant with the answer, “filthy.”
“Oh” the owner said happily, “we didn’t know the cat thinks the dog is dirty, thank you!” I was astonished and confessed, “Actually the cat said filthy.” The owner was over the moon.
She told me that Jack was a big, slobbery dog, and the cat had shown a disliking to him. So now the owner would clean up Jack AND wash him, in the hope that the cat would like the dog more, the owner told me!
Score one for the cat and the girl, me. You may wonder how on earth a cat can speak in English. Well, it can’t. However, life is made up of concepts or ideas, not of words, at its common denominator or foundation. The cat had a clear, strong concept of the dog and that concept was somehow translated into the exact one word that the cat wanted to express!
There’s more to this world than what we think there is. Inter-species telepathic communication is possible because, amazingly, thoughts and ideas are aspects of consciousness that can travel and change form in telepathic transmissions.
The third example is when I was at a bird park and there was a large, beautiful bird that would do tricks if you asked it out loud to do so. When I got to the bird, some people were leaving. I heard them say, “it won’t do the tricks for us.” Well, I walked up to the bird and connected lovingly with it, and I said silently in my head, “Cocky do a trick for me.” No sooner did I send this telepathic message, did the bird do a trick, hanging with its beak from a top bar of its cage!
It seemed that the bird must have received my silent message telepathically. I was astonished and pleased and said “Thank you” to the bird. Notice in these examples, it wasn’t just intention that worked. But words were used silently to speak to another being.
Developing telepathy
At the moment, telepathy it is not available to anyone “on tap.” You can’t just turn it on. However, I believe that everyone has the ability to telepathically send and receive messages.
I have noted that if your mind and energy field are clear and you are in the “zone” of being in-between spaces, i.e. relaxed and calm and expectant, you’re more likely to receive or transmit unspoken information or sense things through telepathy OR an intuitive ability.
Telepathy is one of the gifts that many empaths naturally have. Emotional empaths pick up feelings from other people (and this can be at close range or at a distance) and psychological empaths are more likely to pick up on thoughts from those around them.
Developing empathy can help you to be telepathic. Empathy means having understanding and compassion for others. Because you connect to them in this way, your expanded energy field and your “mind” within your brain is receptive to receiving information from others.
Telepathy is also more likely to occur in people who have the gifts of clairaudience (clear hearing) and claircognizance (clear knowing). I believe that I am somewhat clairaudient and claircognizant.
An experience with clairaudience that I had is shared in my “Angels” article at this page HERE. In my experience, heard a man’s voice clear as day at a distance and from the past, illustrating that sounds can travel over a great distance and even through what we perceive as “linear time!”
You could try to develop your telepathic skills through practice. This would entail finding someone to work with. Ask the person to picture or think about something simple, on your cue. Then ask your Guardian Angel or Spirit Guides or the Angels in general (or God / Source) to help you use your psychic skills.
Focus on being calm, happy, relaxed, and expectant. Feel your energy expand all around you and your consciousness unrestrained but free to roam and connect. Focus on your subject with strong positive feeling and let them know you’re ready for telepathic communication.
Then “look” for an internal image in your mind or listen for a sound in your head or even just behind your head. This could be a word or a phrase and it could sound like your own voice or the sender’s voice or even another voice.
Using telepathy
Why would you use telepathy? It could come in handy to silently pick up the thoughts of your partner or of a child, sibling, or friend, perhaps, or of anyone around you nearby or even at a distance.
If you send or receive messages telepathically, you are entrusted by Source (or God) to use this ability ethically. As a receiver you will only receive messages telepathically from someone whom has a close or a caring connection to you. If you DON’T want to receive their message, let them know in person and/or block the message by saying to yourself, “Stop,” and imagine a shield between you and the person.
You may want to consciously try to send a message telepathically across a distance or use “silent communication” or telepathy, rather than spoken words in certain situations. For example, if you don’t want to be heard by others, if you have a strong connection with someone, try sending the person a short and clear message telepathically.
Telepathy has been within our different cultures and around the world for centuries, with some sources citing that in one way or another it has been used for 5000 years or more.
Telepathic experiences such as the one I had with the cat show that distance is an illusion in terms of my picking up the cat’s thought from a distance. I think that there is no such thing as “linear time,” as I explain in my article below!
Telepathy works best with people you know or with beings that you love and who can sense your attention and reciprocate, like the baby and the cat.
Talk to the animals
Animals are open to telepathic communication if you are in good health and sincere about communicating with them telepathically. Good health means that your physical body and your energy fields are unblocked, so that “energy” or consciousness can freely flow around you and from and into your personal energy field.
Animals have minds that are often free of mental chatter, unlike human beings, and are thus usually receptive to receiving or sending messages telepathically to human beings that they trust and whom love them.
In a nut-shell, here are the steps for Animal Telepathic Communication.
1. Be in a relaxed state of present awareness – have a still mind, be happy and calm, and focused on the present.
2. Be grounded and positive – you must have self-belief and be positive about everything.
3. Open to your intuition by imagining a light from your Crown chakra (top of your head) streaming out and merging with the Universal light OR say to yourself “I am open to my intuition” and feel the connection to your Higher Self and to Universal Knowledge.
4. Connect to the animal through your heart by feeling love in your heart (perhaps in the form of a beautiful flower or something) and send love to the animal (perhaps imagining it being sent on a ribbon or something connecting the two of you).
5. Talk to the animal out loud or silently and record what you receive, OR ask universal knowledge for the information.
Ideas or information are part of “Universal Knowledge” or an infinite ocean of consciousness or energetic information. So with your intuition or natural psychic ability to tune into and gather universal knowledge, you may receive information across distances and time!
The future of telepathy
It is said that the telepathy as a natural ability was not used or encouraged over civilization because humans survive by looking for advantage and leverage, resulting in strangers collecting together. With communication among strangers taking precedence and facilitated with spoken and written words, the desire to maintain telepathy was no longer seen as valuable.
Meditation may help you develop your telepathic skills because it doesn’t just clear or empty out your mind. Meditation makes space for higher thoughts and knowing to come through. By focusing on the idea of your expanded self and of one greater all embracing Source, true meditation helps you to be more relaxed and receptive to the energies that are always swirling around us.
“Meditation Steps” provides a fantastic free course on meditation. It consists of 10 lessons, which are released one at a time, a few days after the last lesson. You sign up for the course on the page below, then get an email. Click on the link in your email to log into your course.
Telepathy is a kind of ultra-high bandwidth communication that renders deep, instantaneous understanding between living beings.
Telepathy requires good health and trust in the process or belief in telepathic communication. When you connect with other beings telepathically, you are able to relate to them at a higher level. A greater understanding is created.
We have become so divided and out of touch with our natural world and even with our body’s optimal requirements, that our mental, emotional, and spiritual health may be compromised, and/or our physical health.
On top of that people have mistrusted and resisted each other, and not allowed themselves to be their true Self. All this combative and divisive energy means that any two people in this world may not be literally on the same wavelength.
Telepathy doesn’t work with everyone. Both the sender and the receiver have to be holding the same energy “frequency,” which is why in these modern times, there isn’t much telepathic communication.
Energy is made up of waves with a frequency or a number of cycles per second. Every living being has a signature energy frequency because they are all made up of energy.
But you will find that if you do the inner work to know yourself and your origins (as a fractal of Source, with a team of angels and guides to help you) and to understand and relate well with others; you can be telepathic!
If we all try to operate from our intuition and not be so analytical, but be open to the possibility of transmission of energy between living beings and even between objects and beings we connect to via other sources (e.g. the internet and photos) and us, our telepathic communication will increase.
I think that 2025 is the year in which the energies from Source will accelerate our natural abilities for telepathy!
The video below is great, debunking the myth that telepathy is supernatural or unnatural. Telepathy and intuition are normal and helpful and you can practice with them if you want to. Practice makes progress! Believe in telepathy and grab any opportunities to practice and develop your telepathic communication.
In another article on “Soul Connexions” I will share information about intuition.
Learning how to talk to animals can help you apply similiar principles and practices with telepathic communication with human beings. There are many Animal Telepathic Communicators around! Just do an internet search for them if you want to find one to train you or to use their services.
