Be conscious and forgiving, and not too conscientious

Hello and welcome to the energy reading for February 2025.

I used Diana Cooper’s “The Archangel Animals Oracle Card Deck.”

The card that we drew is the WHALE.

This card asks you to live as a fully conscious being. This means being in the present and having moment to moment self-awareness. Self-awareness doesn’t just mean being aware of what you are doing and what’s going on around you.

It’s also about being deeply aware of and understanding of what makes you tick.

We are gifted not only with free-will, but with Willpower, Love, and Wisdom.

Let’s put in the effort or willingness and willpower to KNOW and love ourselves. From self-knowledge we are best placed to help other people and Earth with lived and innate wisdom.

When you’re aware intimately of your OWN character traits, tendencies, personality, and ego wishes; then you can best interact with the outer world and with your inner world.

Remember that you are a Divine Soul in Human clothing!

So, your usual ways of thinking and reacting are coloring how you see life.

Because of this, it’s helpful to be PATIENT and relaxed and open to ALL possibilities. Take some time to “distance” yourself from a situation if you need to find solutions, so that the myriad of solutions can present themselves!

Also, don’t hesitate to ask your Guardian Angel and your Spirit Guides for help with any situations you want help with.

The whale can travel and send messages over vast distances. Likewise, you have an enormous impact upon the world at large.

Be mindful of your breathing. Make it a practice to watch your breathing when you are talking to people. If you find yourself holding your breath, stop doing that purposely. Teach yourself not to catch your breath. If you are, that means you are too conscientious or unnecessarily on “high alert.”

If you’re a kind, generously thoughtful person who has everyone’s best good in mind, you may tend toward perfectionism.

STOP. Stop thinking that you are responsible for everything and have to do everything that you are told to do, or be too obliging. Be patient and flexible when dealing with life.

Every single person is self-responsible and you have autonomy or control over your responses on most occasions.

Worry or irrational fear can hold us back from doing what’s best for us. Clear away any stuck energy from your past that’s causing fear.

It’s voices from your past that are probably telling you to do better or to help everyone else that are the origin of you holding your breath. But when you hold your breath you are stopping the flow of life, love and energy.

Breath is synonymous with Spirit. By becoming aware of your breathing you become aware of your spiritual nature, for breath is life. Let breath and your life flow continuously, easily, gracefully, and calmly.

This is why the Whale’s message is “try not to be so conscientious, if that means that you feel obliged to do things or to help others.” Helping others should be a natural flow of events, and starts with you FIRST helping yourself.

You can try surrounding yourself with a field of white light and saying:

I release all energies and emotions that are not mine.

This means that you CHOOSE to be positive and calm in the PRESENT moment, with a diamond or oval shaped field of white-light around you, from Source (or the Light of God).

You are keeping your OWN happy or peaceful thoughts and feelings contained within your close energy field. And you keep the energies of discord OUT of your energy field.

Make it a daily mission to rise in the morning with positive affirmations and with asking your Guardian Angel and Guides to be with you for the day to show their love and support and to give your guidance for getting through the day.

The challenge of being human is to be calm, content, and peaceful in the present. You may need to ALLOW yourself to be happy or to receive your birthright of being peaceful and loved, i.e. calm and content.

When you choose to feel a visceral love toward all or another being, you will experience joy in that feeling of love too.

If you’re feeling down or in need of a lift, try smiling. A smile does wonders. It raises your spirits! Even if you don’t feel like smiling, try it out because it will raise your frequency or energy.

The Whale invites you to ride with the whales, and assisted by Mother Mary, to forge an unbreakable connection between Heaven and Earth, or between Source and your human self.

Imagine yourself as strong, powerful, and commanding as a Whale!

Release yourself from the Past

I also drew a card from Louise Hay’s “Affirmations for Forgiveness” cards.

Forgiveness is NOT about agreeing with things or letting things happen. It’s more about Jesus’ creed, “Forgive them for they know not what they were doing.”

We can add to this, “or if they did know what they were doing, they thought they were doing their best or what is right.”

This doesn’t let some people off their hook. We can’t just say it’s okay for some things to happen because the person thought they were doing the right thing. BUT we can look at our part to play.

We may not like something that happened, but as mentioned, harboring resentment and grudges won’t help. Stop the “should” game, i.e. they should have done this or that. Maybe somebody should have done or not done something. If so, can you tell them so that they won’t do it again?

Deep acceptance means acknowledging what’s happened, including your feelings of hurt or otherwise as a result of associated thoughts. After acknowledgement and releasing attendant dense feelings, you ask yourself what the possible solutions are.

We can look to refine our coping strategies, day by day, moment by moment. We grow stronger in our self-management and feel more empowered as we spiritually evolve through forgiveness and actively creating alternatives and solutions.

For example, if someone says or does something that you don’t like, can you tell them how you feel straightaway? If you let them know that you don’t like it or otherwise that it wasn’t a helpful thing, then they may not do it again.

Forgiveness is certainly not a case of letting people treat you how they like.

It’s really important to understand that forgiveness is about NOT letting the past and other people and the external world impact you negatively!

You achieve this by claiming that it is YOU that is in charge of your own thoughts, feelings, attitudes, baseline moods, repetitive behaviours, responses, initiatory actions, creations, beliefs, etc. as far as possible (or most of the time).

Are you blaming someone else for your SUSTAINING thoughts and feelings of being HARD DONE BY? Wishful thinking or expecting someone in the past to make amends, OR wishing vengeance upon somebody from your past only keeps you corded or connected unhealthily to a person or event.

CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY for your PERSONAL EVOLUTION.

We may have experienced outer events that have hurt or upset or held us back, but we can respond to them by looking at how and what they have taught us, without immersing ourselves in unhelpful resentments.

Grudges only serve to weigh us down and can lead to bitterness and then to hatred. There is no perfect world, so we should be careful what we expect. Bitterness and hatred can cloud your thinking and drain energy that could otherwise be placed.


Gift yourself freedom from the past and flow with the PRESENT, assisted by Whale Energy! Discern from the past or learn from the past, but don’t dwell upon the past lest you become stuck in it.


YOU are a confident, capable, and worthwhile human being.

Perhaps instead of saying “I forgive xyz for ABC,” say, “I release all feelings of upset (add others as appropriate) from the situation.” You do this from a place of knowing we’re all in this game of life together.

Have faith in Source or God as providing your needs and looking after you

Do the inner work to resolve issues from your past if you need to, e.g. through NLP (neurolinguistic programming) or counseling, meditation, and the myriad of other personal development modalities.

Pledge, in February 2025 to be a fully aware or conscious being: aware of your breathing and your typical ways of being so that you can refine or tweak your interactions with people and outer events.

When facing challenges, pause and don’t panic. Draw upon the white light of God and ask your Guardian Angel and Spirit Guides to help you with gentle nudges or synchronicities to know the next best step to take.

Explore every single of the myriad of options available. This is being most resourceful, which NLP advocates. If you gift yourself PATIENCE or the TIME to think something through, then you can select the best action!

Take well considered action.

Whale meaning speaks about following your truth and looking closely at yourself and your words, thoughts, actions, and emotions. It is also about the power of sound, so to be a good listener and conveyor of sound. You may like to explore sound healing.

Ask the Angels to help lift your worries or concerns or to help dissolve them. They will arrange synchronicities or send signs you’re on the right track to transmuting these to self-belief and confidence in yourself and to faith in Source/God that all is well.

Jim Self gives 7 powerful expressions for you to say out loud or silently, to remind you of your Divine nature. When you say these words, try to feel them viscerally or literally. “Senior” means that you are an advanced Soul, for example. Believe that, as a fractal of Source, that you are powerful and commanding.

We are all certain of things, for example, certain that we need oxygen to breathe. You can return to feelings of being certain or gracious, etc. if you need to. Roll back your energy or state of being to any or all of the above, as required.

The story and the words that you tell yourself are vitally important to your wellbeing.

The above words are carriers of positive, helpful energy. When you use them and other affirmations, like “I am healthy,” these help you with your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Focus 100% on who, how and why you are in February 2025 and build up the superb person that you are through living as a fully conscious being and using resources such as the Living Words.
