Thank you for such an informative piece. Dreams are so fascinating, and as someone who dreams a lot, I am always keen to learn more about the symbolism and deeper meaning behind dreams. Freud once said that dreams were a pipeline into the subconscious. Jung said a similar thing.
I have extremely lucid dreams many of which are recurring. The biggest shift I've noticed in my dreams is that I now come from an empowered place with agency rather than from a powerless victim space. Another substack author I think you would enjoy is Toko-Pa Turner.
Thanks for commenting, Judy. I used to have recurring dreams about being lost and never finding the building I wanted. However, with inner work those dreams have stopped! As you nicely point out, we can use our dreams to bring our conscious attention to tensions in our conscious lives, to resolve them and move on!
